Bronte Blinds Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you use our free measure form, call, email or message us, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode, address for the visit, and information about your windows and the products you’re interested in.

How we use it

• To contact you about your enquiry and arrange a home visit
• To prepare quotes, take orders and fit your blinds or shutters
• To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and meeting our legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only with suppliers who need it to make or deliver your order, and with service providers who host this website and its forms. They may only use it on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted within 12 months. Customer and order records are kept for up to 6 years for accounting purposes.

Cookies and third parties

This website does not use cookies or third-party tracking. Fonts and scripts are hosted on this site, so no other company receives your details when you browse. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, those services’ own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email Sales@bronteblindsltd.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
